Florence G. Wescott, 89, of Binghamton died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Susquehanna Nursing Center, Johnson City. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Florence Gross and by her husbands, Albert F. Eccleston and Robert A. Wescott as well as three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her special nephew, Richard C. Bunker and family of Binghamton; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Colangelo (Nick) and Helen Gross-Reis; brother-in-law, Jack Daughton; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton; a retired employee of Singer Link, Inc.; a member of AARP and Treasurer of its Binghamton Chapter; a member of the Ladies of Charity and an avid NY Yankees Fan. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church Binghamton on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of Sympathy in Florence's memory may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903. "May God grant you always…A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you." An Irish Blessing.
