Obituary of Nereida Montalvo

Nereida Montalvo, 74, of Greene, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, Aurea and Carlos Reyes. She is survived by her husband, George Davies; her children, Annette Delgado, CoraLee Hernandez, Sandra Nunes, Inez Moriarty, Louis Montalvo, Eric Montalvo; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lourdes Rosa; brother, Carlos Reyes; several nieces and nephews. Nereida enjoyed crafts, gardening and cooking. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Friday from 4-7 p.m.
