Obituary of Anne L. O'Dea

Anne L. O'Dea, of Kirkwood, passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday May 15, 2016. She was born in Binghamton, NY, on October 3, 1930 to Louise and Samuel Bailey. Upon graduation from Binghamton Central High School, Anne started her career at Vail-Ballou in the Accounting Department, moved onto the Binghamton Savings Bank where she met her husband, Richard. On July 21, 1956, Anne married the love of her life, Dick, and together they raised six children. Anne was a beautiful and kind person with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her. Anne is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dick; her children, Anne and Tom Acquisto, Cookie and Jerry Henehan, John and Lori O'Dea, Mary Ellen Rochford and Bill, Patrick and Lisa O'Dea, Kerri and Alan McKeever; her grandchildren, Kiernan Acquisto, Joe and Liam O'Dea, Dan O'Dea, Billy, Molly and Shane McKeever; her sister, Kate Shadduck; her brother, Dick Bailey; and many nieces and nephews. She as a member of St. Mary's Church, Kirkwood. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church, Rt. 11 Kirkwood, Friday at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Church Friday from 10:30am until 12 noon.
