2/26/1918 – 4/8/2016 We lost a wonderful Man on April 8th, Our Dad, Grampa, Great Grampa. William E. Quick Predeceased by Arthur & Bertha Quick; wife, Margaret (Swan); brothers, Don & Bob; sisters, Margaret, Dorothy, Pat & Katherine. Survived by brother, John F. and Carol Quick; son, Gary E. & Paulette (Kephart); daughter, Pam (Quick) & Cliff Post; grandchildren, Josh & Stephanie, Matt & Alissa, Shanay (Post) & Cory Beschorner, Torri (Post) & Todd Henyan; great grandchildren, Liam, Zander, Aiden & Charlotte Quick, Kaillyn & Ryan Quick, Tyler, Mekayla & Alyssa Beschorner, Kaydin, Keldin & Kamdin Henyan. Bill was retired from his lifetime job with the railroad. He was a WWII Army Veteran & Past Commander of American Legion Post 1194. A proud member of the Hibernians, a member of Saints John & Andrew Church, where he could be seen as an usher every Sunday Mass at 7:30 until recently, and a caregiver to his family while they were alive. We Will Miss You So Very Much. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Ave., Binghamton on Tuesday at 9:30am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton on Monday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bill may be made to the Retired Firefighters Cancer Fund, 4 Loretta Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
