Florine A. Soltis, 79, of Johnson City died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Anna Kocenko and her brothers, John and Lawrence Kocenko. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Pamela Kocenko, Joseph and James Kocenko, Melissa Scully, Michael and Mark Kocenko; several great nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Adorer in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Florine was an associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She was a retired secretary for Kemper Insurance and an avid NY Yankee Fan. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga, NY at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Friday, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Florine may be made to St. Patrick' s Church, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 or the Sisters of St. Joseph, 46 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
