Lois Robbins Thayne, formerly of Chenango Bridge passed away Monday September 21, 2015 at Good Shepherd Village in Endwell. Lois is predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Ruby Robbins; a brother, Wilbur; her husband John D. and a daughter, Bernadette. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann Thayne and William Lillie, Ft. Myers, FL; sister-in-law, Kathy O'Connor, Mahopac, NY; several nieces and nephews; the "Little People" Roman, Zenzi, Kazio, Rhaya Jellick and "The Baby" Trinity Palmer, who brought extreme joy to her life. Lois graduated from Binghamton North High School and SUNY Oneonta. Lois retired from Chenango Valley Central Schools after teaching for 34 years. A very special thank you to Carol Petras for everything you have done. To the staff of Good Shepherd Village at Endwell and Good Shepherd-Fairview Home, Elder Care Management for their compassion and care they have given Lois over the past few years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street. Binghamton, Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
