“And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels” ~ Malachi 3:17
To the Bereaved Family,
Every sunset brings us peace, every sunrise brings us hope but we bow in humble submission to the will of God as He has called home one of His precious jewels. We, the Saints of Second Tabernacle-Charlotte, NC, extend our most sincere sympathies to you our COGASOC family.
Bro. Jerry Cunningham was blessed to live a full life but whenever God calls, the time always seems too short. Take comfort in knowing Bro. Cunningham is being welcomed home by the Father and that his well-deserved crown of glory has now been received. Take comfort in knowing he’s in a place of peace where the pain and sorrow of this world cannot prevail.
During this time know that you are not alone. May God’s loving arms of protection comfort you now and in the days to come. Continue to trust in God’s healing power and find peace at his gates. He promises to be with us in the midnight hour and never leave us alone. So let His grace grant you faith, hope, and courage to face each new day is our prayer.
May God keep you in the Hollow of His Hand~
Sincerely,
Bro. Uriah G. Hamilton, Brother In Charge
And Congregation of Second Tabernacle
Charlotte, NC

To the family of the Late Brother Jerry Cunningham:
We are thankful to the Almighty God for the experience of uniqueness housed in the body of Brother Jerry Cunningham. The hallmark of Brother Cunningham’s existence was that he could always be counted upon, he was always willing, and he could always be found working in the Church of God and Saints of Christ - he lead by his example. We can say without reservation that he loved God, loved the Church of God, loved the people of God, and was a supporter of the Man of God.
While we are saddened at his passing, we rejoice in the quality of life that he lived. He lived a good life, one worthy of a child of God. Our task is to emulate those qualities of love, dedication, and faithfulness that were made manifest throughout the life of this servant of the Almighty God.
To this family who drinks from the bitter cup, my prayer is that the Holy One of Israel, who fainteth not, neither is weary, will bring peace and console your heart as you endure this season of sorrow.
With deepest sympathy,
Rabbi Jehu A. Crowdy, Jr.
