A. William Westbrook, 87 of Binghamton, beloved husband, father and grandfather died Sunday, June 21, 2015 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Ann and an infant brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Jayne Westbrook; his children, Nancy Westbrook, Blake Westbrook, Susan and Charles Speicher, Carter and Ann Westbrook, Barbara Marie and Richard Scarlett, Anthony and Martha Westbrook; grandchildren, Katelyn, Mary Ann, Laura, Ryan Speicher, Caroline, Chase, Allison Westbrook, Veronica and Katrina Scarlett, Georgia, Lily, Kenneth, Phoebe, Paul Westbrook, and Emily Johnson; and a lifelong friend, Dr. Edward M. Cox. Bill was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. He was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School and St. Bonaventure University and a U.S. Army Veteran. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bill may be made to Catholic Charities Food Pantry, 100 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905
