Obituary of Wanda Coene

Wanda L. Coene, 64 of Binghamton, died Tuesday June 16, 2015 at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. David H. Coene; and her parents, David and Gertrude Clink. She is survived by her children, Traci and Jeff Smith, Greg and Erin DeHaas, Lucas Coene and Maggie Coene; her grandchildren, Brady and Luke Smith, Lexi Sheffler; her sisters and brothers, Carol Ayres, Robert Dow, Judith Orchard, Wahnita O'Neil and James Dow; as well as several nieces and nephews. Wanda was a graduate of Newark Valley High School, Class of 1968 and Baptist Bible Seminary, Clark Summit, PA. She was a woman of great faith who enjoyed gardening, cooking, tennis, playing the piano and singing. Memorial Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton on Saturday June 27, 2015 at 12 noon. Reverend David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home on Saturday from 11am until 12 noon.
