Nealon, Robert J. Hallertown, PA: Robert J. Nealon, 84, of Hallertown, PA, formerly of Binghamton, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lane Nealon; his parents, Raymond and Margaret Nealon; his brother, Ray "Bud" Nealon; and a son-in-law, Carl Parson. He is survived by his children, Colleen and Bill Marion, Robert J. Nealon Jr., all of Binghamton, Mary Beth Parson, Phoenix, AZ, Suzanne and Joe Savage, Bethlehem, PA, Terry and Tammie Nealon, Binghamton, David Nealon, Phoenix, AZ, Laurie and Jim Duffy, Mays Landing, NJ; 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Nealon, Skaneateles; several nieces and nephews. He was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, and was a graduate of Siena College, Loudonville, NY. He was retired president of Nealon Trucking, Inc. and a longtime member of the Binghamton Rotary Club. He was an avid golfer and played at En-Joie, Binghamton Country Club, and Vestal Hills Country Club. Bob and Mary loved their children, grandchildren, and all family reunions. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 5-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Bob may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
