Alexander P. Baron Baron, Alexander P. Kirkwood: Alexander P. Baron, 85, of Kirkwood, died Tuesday evening, June 12, 2012, at his home. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Eva Baron; and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Susan Baron, Vestal, John and Gayla Baron, Endwell; six grandchildren, James, Tara, Megan, and Shannon Baron, Alexandra and Keith Baron; his brother, Edward and Josephine Baron, Elmira; his sister, Helen Miluszusky, Clarks Summit, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was a very active member of St. Mary's Church, Kirkwood. He was a retired supervisor at Universal Instruments, retiring after 40 years, and a member of the 20-year club. Alexander loved to be outdoors and taking care of his home and property. Alex's greatest joy was sharing in his grandchildren's lives and providing his wisdom and guidance in the most loving and gentle way. His presence will be greatly missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church, Kirkwood, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Carbondale, PA. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Alexander may be made to St. Mary's Church, 975 NY Rt. 11, Kirkwood, NY 13795.
