Derzanovich, Sr., 86, of Town of Binghamton, died Saturday afternoon, April 28, 2012, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Sarah Derzanovich; and his brothers and sisters, Alex, Ann, Olga, and William. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Foley Derzanovich; his children, Ann and Daniel Yeager, Kathryn and Michael Kasabian, James and Robin Derzanovich, John Derzanovich, Jr., Maria and William McGuane, Christine Miner; 16 grandchildren, Mark, David, Jenny, Michael, Scott, Jamie, Katie, Matt, Jack, Aimee, Hannah, Lucian, Marty, Ria, Allie, Sara; 3 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Drew, and Keagan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton, U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of the Town of Binghamton Volunteer Fire Co. During his life he farmed, was a glass glazer, sales representative, and retired from the IBM Corporation. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. John spent a lifetime providing for his family. The family wishes to thank Jean and Sue for all their assistance and caring for John. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, PA. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of John may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
