Obituary of Deborah J. Foster

Deborah Foster (Cross), 49 years young, died unexpectedly on March 29, 2015. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Edna Kosalek and Anntoinette and Timothy Cross; sister-in-law, Marilyn Orton (Foster) and also Deb's dog of 15 years, Roxie. Deb is survived by her husband, best friend and the love of her life, Robert Foster; step-children, Erin (Mark) Weaver, Robert (Rose) Foster; four grandchildren, Helena and Owen Weaver, Christian and Mary Foster; mother, Maggie Cross and father, Richard Cross; sister, Carrie Dinardo; brother, Stephen Cross; nephews, Joseph, Nicholas, Shawn, Robert, Richard, Chris and Sully; nieces, Melanie, Courtney, Erica and Alison; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Lynne Foster, Carol and James Guiton, Carla and John Murphy and Robert Orton. Deb graduated from Binghamton High School, attended SUNY Broome and was a long term employee of Altria Company and Chalks Marina. Deb was an accomplished tap and jazz dancer for 25 years and was a cheerleader at Binghamton North High where she shared her talent with CYO Basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas. Deb was a very thoughtful and giving person. In her most recent years, she enjoyed riding Harley's and snowmobiles with her husband, showing her adventurist side that we never knew existed. Deb enjoyed many fun nights at the St. Lawrence River with her North Country friends and numerous childhood friends. Debby will always be loved and missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton , Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Deb may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903 or any charitable organization.
