Obituary of Roberta A. Griffis

Roberta A. "Bobbie" Griffis, 66 of Binghamton died unexpectedly Thursday March 12, 2015. She was predeceased by her father, Percy Conrad Warren. She is survived by her sons, Michael Griffis and Joseph Griffis; her granddaughter, McKenzi MacDowall, who was the apple of her grandmother's eye; her mother, Anne "Bunny" Warren; her sisters, Pat Warren, Sharon and Roger Drake, Janice and Richard Howell, Kathy Walser, Lorrie Springsteen; very dear friend Terry "Mr. Gibbs" Gibbs; several aunts, one uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobbie was a retired 30 year employee of Binghamton University. She enjoyed her trips to the casino, fishing; loved her boys and granddaughter. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton Sunday from 1-3pm.
