Obituary of John P. Reap, Sr.

John P. "Jack" Reap, Sr. 80, of Binghamton died peacefully Monday, March 2,2015 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna Reap. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dawn Welch Reap; his children, Kathy Butler, Mary Simmons, Patricia Hine, Janice Reap, John Reap, Jr., James and Betty Reap; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother. Thomas and Naomi Reap, Sister Mary Charles Reap. I.H.M., Anna and Ron Megna; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Jack was a retired manager for Eckerd Drug Co. and worked many years at Loblaw's, Great American and Fay's. He was an avid golfer and collector. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Thursday at 11 a.m. Reverend Robert Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald,PA in the spring. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Jack may be made to C.O.P.D.
