Obituary of Joshua C. Drayton

Joshua Cory Drayton, 22, of Binghamton, went to fly with the Angels, Wednesday February 18, 2015. He was predeceased by his maternal great grandparents, John and Eleanor Place; his paternal great grandmother, Olivia Drayton; his paternal grandmother, Deborah May; and a great uncle, Don Place. He is survived by his loving parents, Christopher and Jeanne Drayton; a sister Jaden, and a brother Cameron; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Sue Skojec; a paternal grandfather, Darryl and Trina Drayton; aunts and uncles, Johnny, Jim (Nancy), Rick (Michelle)and Dave (Trudi) Skojec; Justin Archer, Bryan (Christina) Drayton, Alaina Drayton, and Shawneequa Greene; great aunts and uncles, Jim (Audrey), Jack (Cindy), and Mike (Gail) Place; Nat, Gregory and Donna Drayton; Terrance, Mark and Robin Sheppard; also several cousins and numerous friends. Josh was a student at Binghamton University majoring in Sociology. He loved his music festivals, his family and friends, and all things philosophical. He was our golden child and the light of our lives and will be forever missed. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 1-3pm.
