Obituary of Marcella A. Semcho

Marcella A. "Marcy" Semcho, 88, of Binghamton went to be with her Lord peacefully Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Stephen Semcho; her parents; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Stephen and Nancy Semcho, Cary, NC, Denise and Jim Sheerin, Johnson City, Michelle and Joe D'Antuono, Owego; her grandchildren, Stephen A. Semcho, Matthew J. Sheerin, Joey D'Antuono, and Nicholas Callahan; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Binghamton. Marcy was a retired employee of Willow Point Nursing Home and a member of the Knights of Lithuania. She was also known as the "Cookie Lady." Special thanks to Cardiology Associates, Dr. Mark Walker, Dr. James Kondrup and the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Prospect Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Marcy may be made to Lourdes Hospital Foundation, 169 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905 or the Humane Society, 3 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903.
