Obituary of Elizabeth L. Seltzer

Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Kilmer Seltzer, 83 of Binghamton died Thursday, February 5, 2015 peacefully with her family at her side at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her late husband, Gerald Seltzer; her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Kilmer; her siblings, Donald, Walter and Bobby Kilmer, Ellen Fagan, Leona Norton, Frances Burnett. She is survived by her children, Sally Seltzer, Carrie Ann Seltzer, Catherine and Jack Brozaitis; her grandchildren, Beth Koko, Gracie, Sam Viengkham, Amy Foley, Andrew Foley, Adriana Epstein, Finnegan Foley, Carrie Ann and Jon Lougheed, Catherine and AJ Cox, Benjamin and Meghan Brozaitis; sister-in-law, Ann Marie Kilmer; many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy and caregiver for dear family friend, Gene Cline. She loved her children and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home North 1 and special thanks to Catherine Erikson. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton (due to renovations at St. Patrick's Church) Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Betty Lou may be made to the Danielle House, 160 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
