Obituary of Mary M. Lynch

Mary M. Lynch, 88 of Binghamton died Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, James Lynch; her son, James Lynch; and her daughter, Maureen Powell. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Sheila and Michael Schaden, Frederick, MD, Shawn and John Zych, Binghamton; her grandchildren, Terra and Peter Ireland, Lindsay and Andrew Hinkley, Justin Powell, Erin and Dan Ayers, Insley and Scott Shackleford, Gavin Schaden; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton. Mary enjoyed singing, family dinners and partying. The family wishes to thank the staff on West Wing at Willow Point Nursing Home for the care and compassion given to Mary. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton, NY in the spring. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Friday from 4-6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
