Obituary of Dorothy T. Bedosky

Dorothy Tinkham Bedosky, 82 of Vestal died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Jennie Tinkham and her brother Theodore Tinkham. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. John G. Bedosky, Vestal; her sons and daughter-in-law, John R. Bedosky and Holly Nelson, Minneapolis, MN, James T. Bedosky, Springfield, VA, Thomas M. Bedosky, Johnson City; her grandchildren, Krista A. Bedosky, Lauren K. Bedosky, Karina and Kimberly Bedosky, Thomas M. III, Jacob P., John S. and Benjamin A. Bedosky; several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Buffalo School of Dental Hygiene and was a bookkeeper and accountant for Bedosky Family Businesses. She enjoyed golf, bowling, bingo and animals. She was a great cook and a volunteer for the Vestal Emergency Squad. Private services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton on Wednesday. Reverend John P. Donovan, pastor of St. James Church, Johnson City will officiate. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Humane Society, 3 Jackson St., Binghamton, 13903.
