Obituary of Lillian K. Haskell

Lillian K. Haskell, of Vestal, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 8, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Anthony Gravina. Lillian was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond; four daughters, Deborah (Michael) Seaman, Karen (John) Kohler, Cindy (Dennis) Simone, and Lisa (Michael) Distin; and her sister, Linda Pantridge. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jessica (Mack) White, David (Kaitlyn) Seaman, Melissa Kohler, Benjamin (Helen) Kohler, Jonathan (Kassandra) Kohler, and Michael Distin; a great-grandson, Alexander Raymond Kohler; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal. She retired from Broome County Social Services Legal Department. Lillian enjoyed time with her family and friends, traveling, camping and line dancing. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 12:30 pm. at St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. Expressions of sympathy in Lillian's memory may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, 165 Clifton Blvd., Vestal, NY 13850, or Memorial Park Baptist Church, 1017 Front St. Vestal, NY 13850
