Obituary of Anthony Antos

Antos, Anthony J. "Tony" Vestal: Anthony J. "Tony" Antos Jr., 78, of Vestal died Saturday June 14, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Anna Antos, Sr. and his step-mother Helen Antos. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Phyllis Cacala Antos; his children, Sharon and Jim Eleftheratos, Joseph and Maria Antos, Anthony and Desiree Antos, Stacy Bowman and David Kreider; his grandchildren, Tony and Sarah, Kate and Bob, Joseph, Nicholas, Gianni, Anthony, Nicole, Alyssa, Matthew, Morgan and their father Deron Bowman; two brothers, Kenneth and Sheila Antos, John and Barbara Antos; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott. Tony retired as a Lieutenant with the Binghamton Police Department after 20 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and ran the parking lot at the Binghamton Savings Bank, and was a courier for Hinman, Howard and Kattell Law Offices. He loved the NY Yankees, loved to fish and watch his grandchildren's sporting events. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Main Street, Endicott , Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Tony may be made to the Danielle House, 160 Riverside Drive, Binghamton NY, 13905(Do not delete this line.
