Obituary of Peter J. Sparr

Peter Sparr, 73, of Binghamton, died Monday, May 19, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Henry Sparr; and a sister, Barbara McGann. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Margo Donnelly Sparr; his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Tom Yetsko, Patricia and Timothy Bloodgood. Pete was the proud grandfather of four wonderful grandchildren, Mykayla Bloodgood, Emily Yetsko, Hunter Bloodgood, Jessica Yetsko; his sister, Peggy Sparr and Michael Fall; several nieces and nephews. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a retired 32 year employee of the IBM Corporation and a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Ave., Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday from 5-7 pm
