Lorraine L. Curtin, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 18, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Thelma Croop, sister Gale Hall, and beloved husband James J. Curtin "JJ". She is survived by her daughters Veronica (Henry) Gober, Tammy (Bruce) Avery, Karen (Matthew) Hawley, Melissa (Richard) VanVorce, her loving companion James Nytch, her brother Raymond (Mary) Croop, and sister Debra (Wayne) Miller. Also surviving Lorraine are her pride and joys, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Lorraine was a proud member of the Women of the Moose Binghamton Chapter 411 where she enjoyed playing shuffleboard and having game nights with her girls. Lorraine was loved tremendously and will be deeply missed by so many. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday March 22, 2024 at 12 noon. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A Celebration of life will follow at the Binghamton Moose Lodge at 1013 Henry Street Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's name may be made to the NYS Police Benevolent Association 120 State Street, Albany NY 12207.
