Obituary of Emil Calice

Emil C. "Sonny" Calice, 89 of Binghamton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 16, 2014. He came from a large Italian family. He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters, Anna Weintraub, Arthur Calice, Benny Calice, Jimmy Calice, Amos Calice, Adrena Scalone, Angie Impero, Lucille Cavalucci; also predeceased by his lifelong companion, Mildred "Millie" Barton. He is survived by very dear friends, Ellen and Seymour Hoag and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. He retired from the IBM Corporation and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII in which he served with his four brothers. He was an avid Hamm Radio Operator. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Church of Saints John and Andrew Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
