Obituary of Nancy C. Lynch

Nancy Carole Lynch (nee Allen), 80, of Johnson City, New York, passed away on January 28, 2024. Nancy was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario Canada to Michael and Gloria Allen on July 11, 1943. She worked as a hairdresser in Binghamton, and later ran her own small salon business in Endwell. After retiring from the beauty business, she was an award winning sales associate. Nancy's favorite activities involved time spent with her family, especially her four grandsons. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Lynch, and, was a loving mother and grandmother to Kristin Jeanson (Thomas) and their children David and Evan, Sean Lynch (Janine) and their children Sean, Finn, and Cormac, and Matthew Lynch (Mae). She will be sadly missed by sisters Marilyn and Michelle, and, many sisters- & brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Patricia, and parents Michael and Gloria. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 W. Main Street, Endicott, Thursday February 1, 2024 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Thursday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Endicott, New York. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the care-givers at UHS Wilson Hospital and the Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility.
