Obituary of Conrad DeLuca

Conrad L. DeLuca, 79, of Binghamton, passed away Monday morning, February 17, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Mario and Magdelene DeLuca, and a sister Martitia DeLuca. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Christine DeLuca, Binghamton; three sons, Michael and Sharon DeLuca, Binghamton; Mark DeLuca, SC; Jeffrey DeLuca and fiance Kathy Flynn, Binghamton; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel and Matthew; Scott and Michael; Jade and Christa; several great grandchildren; a sister Rose (Betty) Gerwert, PA; also several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City. He was a former employee of Dick's Sporting Goods, Binghamton, Singer Link Corp. and retired from the First Ward Senior Citizens Center. Conrad graduated from Altoona Catholic High School in 1952 and Williamsport College in PA. He then came to Binghamton to raise his family with his wife Christine. He was an amazing man and was loved by everyone who met him and he loved everyone he met. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, NY, Friday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Laurence J. Lord will officiate. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Friday from 12 noon until time of services. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903 in Conrad L. DeLuca's memory.
