Obituary of Donald J. Millham

Donald J. Millham, Sr., 80, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was predeceased by his sisters, Jeanette and Betty; and a brother, John. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Catherine Adams Millham; his sons and daughter-in-law, Donald J. Millham, Jr. of Binghamton, Michael and Susan Millham, Morgantown, WV; three grandchildren, Isabella Millham, Joshua Deeter, Taylor Deeter; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, and a graduate of the University of Buffalo. He was a Pharmacist for over 50 years. His proudest professional accomplishment was owning the Kirkwood Pharmacy. He was a former high school and college football official. He was involved with his sons in travel hockey and enjoyed traveling. Later in life, he enjoyed dinner and cocktails with friends with his dog "Gretzky" in his red convertible. Special thanks to Keepsake Village at Castle Gardens and the Susquehanna Nursing Home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Don may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
