Obituary of M Jean Rebello

M. Jean Rebello, 68, of Brackney, PA, died Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Katherine McMahon; and a brother, Stephen McMahon. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rich Rebello; her children, Gavin and Karen Rebello, Jennifer Short, Greg and Jennifer Rebello, Steve and Emily Rebello, David and Calley Rebello; 14 grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Timothy and Sheila McMahon, Mary Ellen and Casey Epe, Sharon and Dan Fish, Chris and Patricia McMahon, Mark and Maria McMahon, Mary Frances McMahon and Dan Miernicki, Kevin and Maryanne McMahon; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, PA. Jean was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy in 1963 and the University of Dallas in 1967. She taught at St. John the Evangelist School and did substitute teaching for the Broome County Catholic Schools. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, PA, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Jean may be made to St. Brigid Parish, 17 Cottage St., PO Box 75, Friendsville, PA 18818.
