Obituary of Mary C. Warner

Warner, Mary Carol (Bruetsch) Mary Carol (Bruetsch) Warner, 79, of Binghamton died peacefully at her home on February 7, 2014 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Charles Bruetsch; and her son-in-law, Roman Korsunsky. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert A. Warner, Binghamton; her three daughters and their spouses, Robin and Jamie Kimmel, Harpursville, NY; Leslie Korsunsky, Downingtown, PA; Marnie and Tim Burdick, Maine, NY. She was very proud and loving of her eight grandchildren: Jared, Lindsay and Hannah Kimmel; Jedd, Emily and Kurt Burdick; and Sara and Rebecca Korsunsky. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Nancy Bruetsch, Conklin, NY; Joseph Bruetsch, Conklin, NY; two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Sallie and Dick Gray, Bedford, PA; Sue and Terry Kelly, Endwell, NY; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins and lifelong friend, Bobbie Meaker. She graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1952 and worked for John Hancock Insurance Co. for 10 years. She also taught at Tiny Star Nursery School and worked in the office at TC Stars Gymnastics Center. She was a retired employee of Susquehanna Valley School District working in the high school main office for 10 years. She attended St. Andrews Catholic Church for many years. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday at 5 p.m. Reverend David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park in the spring. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
