Obituary of Sarah J. Lusk

Sarah (Sally Kinney) Lusk passed away peacefully at Lourdes Hospital after a short illness. She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Sarah Seltzer, brothers Paul Seltzer (Marion), Walter Seltzer (Jo Pat) and Gerald Seltzer (BettyLou). She is also predeceased by her husbands, Calvin T. Kinney in 1983, and Robert Lusk in 2004, as well as numerous sisters and brothers in law. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Ray and Anne Kinney, and three beloved grandchildren, Alexa, Jeremy and Joshua Kinney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sally enjoyed a 39 year career as a Senior Secretary at NYSEG. Following her retirement in 1992, she volunteered at Lourdes Hospital. She was a communicant of the Parish of Saints John and Andrew. She enjoyed her outings with the Golden Agers group from SJA. She loved family gatherings and watching the sporting and arts activities of her grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
