Obituary of Carol J. Kocak

Carol J. (Kintner) Kocak, 69, of Port Dickinson died Monday April 17, 2017 at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal. She was born September 3, 1947. She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Clarabelle Kintner and her sister Barbara Sanford. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul M. Kocak and her daughters Kathleen Burns, Port Dickinson and Karen (Michael) Blakeslee, Port Dickinson; four grandchildren Erin and Shea Burns and Robbie and Lily Blakeslee all of Port Dickinson; a brother Kenneth and Nancy Kintner; a sister-in-law Ellen and Donald Williams; a brother-in-law David Sanford; her niece Kimberly and Jeff Ailes; nephews Joshua and Isaac Williams. She was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Church, Binghamton and worked at Wegman's for 10 years where she enjoyed the friendship of her coworkers. The family would like to thank Willow Point Nursing Home for making her last few days peaceful. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS Cyril and Methodius Church, Clinton Street, Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Church, Friday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
