Beverly L. Gallagher, 89, of Chenango Forks, died Thursday February 11, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Nina Loughren; her brother, James; and sister, Evelyn Page. She is survived by her children, James Gallagher, Brackney, PA; Sharon Davis, Edmeston, NY; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest, and a former member of St. Christopher's Church, Binghamton. She was employed at Farm and Home Administration and the Social Security Administration. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed playing bridge. She was an active member of Ladies of Charity and volunteered at the Nearly New Shop. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Chenango St., Hillcrest, on Tuesday at 10am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Tuesday from 9-10am. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Beverly may be made to Ladies of Charity c/o Catholic Charities of Broome County, 232 Main St., Binghamton, NY 13905, or Alzheimer's Association, 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
