Cindy T. Zaino, 65, of Binghamton, New York, passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and the love of those who knew her. Born in Rockville Centre, New York, and raised on Long Island, Cindy carried her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit with her throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Olsen and Arthur Olsen. Cindy was the devoted mother of her twin sons, Thomas M. Zaino and Scott A. Zaino, and a proud, loving grandmother to her beloved grandson, Tomas W. Zaino, who brought immense joy to her life.

She is survived by her son, Thomas M. Zaino; her beloved grandson, Tomas W. Zaino; Tammy L. Whittemore, mother of her grandson; her son, Scott A. Zaino, and his wife, Alexis S. Zaino; her sisters, Susan Hale and her husband, Randy Hale; Sandra Holmes; and Candi Yatsinko and her husband, Vinnie Yatsinko. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Cindy enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a cook. She found great happiness in preparing meals for others, expressing her love through food and bringing people together around the table.

Outside of the kitchen, Cindy adored her dogs, backyard bonfires, and had a lifelong passion for antique cars, especially her treasured 1979 Pontiac Firebird. Her generous heart, caring nature, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and animals will be remembered always.

A private family ceremony celebrating Cindy's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Broome County Dog Shelter in Binghamton, New York, in Cindy's honor, reflecting her lifelong love of animals.

Though she is no longer with us, Cindy's love, kindness, and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her
