Timothy Richards 74 of Binghamton, NY Entered eternal life May 20,2026.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Diann Richards; his brother Bob (Betty) Richards; his sisters Karen (Joe) Rulison and Mary Claire Hoch; his sisters in-law Kathleen (Mark) Staniulis
and Susan (Kevin) Cahill also by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends.
Tim was predeceased by his parents Robert & Claire Richards; his sister Barbara (Walter) Stebbins and his niece, Wendy Richards.
Tim was a graduate of Binghamton North High School, Broome Community College, A.S., Binghamton University, B.S. and Syracuse University, M.S.
Tim worked for decades as a Quality Engineer at IBM Endicott and then for the Diocese of Syracuse at St. Thomas Aquinas & St. Patrick's Churches in Binghamton.
Tim will be remembered as a kind, humble man with a dry sense of humor, always willing to help and serve others.
One of Tim's greatest joys in life was doing all sorts of projects
with his dear friend Tim Heslin. Especially the "Work Parties" with his fellow Holy Name brothers at church.
May Tim rest in peace knowing that he was loved.

Tim always said if he ever won the lottery, he would donate the money to feed the hungry.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Monday June 1, 2026 at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Monday from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. The Mass will be live streamed at www.sta-sp.org
