Christine Barlow passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, 2026 at her home after a brief illness. She is predeceased by her parents, George M. Barlow, Sr. and Dorothy Barlow. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine, Linda, Mary Mihalko (Joseph), Diane Cunning (Scott) and her brothers George, Jr., and Stephen. Nephews Andrew (Casey), Michael (Cynthia), Miles (Megan), nieces Allison (Kim), Anna (Phil) and great nephews Noah and TJ along with many dear cousins, including her lifelong friend from high school, Linda Pedalino.

Chris spent many years working in food service many local hospitals and health care facilities where she made many friends.

Her greatest joy was her collection of owl figurines. She was a longtime consistent contributor to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund along with many other law enforcement organizations.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Main Street, Johnson City, Thursday May 28, 2026 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. James Church, Thursday May 28, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
