Bruce was a great mentor, as he always led me in the right direction. He was my first partner on the pitch back in 1971. We worked together as members of the executive board for TCSOB. He recommended me to Gerry Green to follow in his footsteps as the Section IV boys soccer coordinator. He hosted the boys state soccer championship in Elmira and co hosted with me the same championship in Oneonta. Always a gentleman and many fond memories.
