Joseph Brian Gorman, 73, of Maine, NY, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Despite facing unexpected health challenges, Brian was surrounded by love and care from family, friends, and hospital staff until the very end. Brian worked at IBM in Endicott for 24 years. After leaving IBM, he continued serving his community as a bus driver for the Maine-Endwell School District. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert; his mother, Catherine; and his sister, Katherine (Kay). He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his son, Matthew; and his daughter, Elizabeth Seifert, and her husband, Brendan. Brian was a devoted grandfather to Braelyn Catherine and Carensa Faith, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his brother, James Gorman, and his sister-in-law, Kay Gorman, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. Brian honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer and a loyal New York Mets fan.
