Obituary of Patricia A. Caciola

Patricia Ann Caciola (Mihal), 88, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by family, on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Ann Mihal; her brother, William (Billy) Mihal II; her devoted husband, Bernard Caciola, and his parents Omen and Theresa Caciola. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Bernard Caciola Jr. of New York, NY; Marianne C. O'Neill and her husband, Michael O'Neill, of Ocean View, DE; and Catherine Peris and her husband, Mark McGinnis, of Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Taylor (and her husband John), Meghan, Patrick, and Michael. Patricia was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Church in Vestal. She also spent over 30 years of her life as a staff member at Broome Community College. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their dedicated care of Patricia in her final days. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road Vestal, Friday , January 16, 2026 at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105, in memory of Patricia A. Caciola.
