Obituary of Donald F. Addison

Donald Addison,82 passed away after a short illness on December 30, 2025. Donald was born on July 22, 1943 in Binghamton, New York. He was predeceased by his parents John H Addison and Gertrude E Hassett, his brother Robert Addison. He was also predeceased by his loving companion Mary Yager (Normile), Wife Barbara Addison (Breck), Wife Sharon Gerdus (Fogarty). He is survived by his sons Mark Addison (Mary) and Christopher (Rebeca). His sisters Cheryl Muller (Tom), Debra Donlon (Bill), and Dee Dee Flume (John). His Grandchildren Marina, Brittney, Jessica, Christopher, James. One Great Granddaughter Lainey Hunter. Several Nephews and Nieces Donald was a graduate of Binghamton North High and Broome Tech. He worked for IBM Endicott for over 30 years. Donald was an overall sports enthusiast with favorite teams being the NY Giants, NY Yankees, NY Knicks. He was an avid Golfer Donald grew up in the Binghamton area. After retirement he chose to spend his time split between Binghamton and Sarasota. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday, January 16, 2026 from 3 to 5 p.m.
