Obituary of Susan H. Remizowski

Susan Remizowski died Tuesday December 16 at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Binghamton. She was born in Springfield, IL, to the late William Hill Sr. and Elma (Coleman) Hill. Susan was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Richard L. Remizowski and her brother, William A. Hill. She is survived by her brother- and sister-in-laws Bill and Janet Remizowski, and Paul and Peggy Remizowski, as well as her four nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Leigh, Keith and Alex. A core part of Susan's life was service to others. After graduating from Marywood University in Pennsylvania with her Master's degree in Social Work, she practiced at the UHS Ideal Living Center. Until the end of her life, she volunteered making deliveries for Meals on Wheels. Susan was an avid reader and artist. She spent her free time making beautiful quilts and sweaters for her friends and family, attending local concerts and Broome County Arts Council events, and taking day trips with SWAG (Senior Women's Action Group) with her friends. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 1pm – 3pm at the home of Susan at 33 Rugby Road, Binghamton, NY.
