Virginia M. "Ginny" Owens Obituary

Ginny Mae was reunited with Ray on December 15, 2025, after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her loving husband Raymond, parents Virgil and Mary Gunderman, siblings Mary Miller, Bill Gunderman, and Tom Gunderman. She is survived by her four children Terri Parisi, Steven Parisi, David (Tammy) Parisi, and Jamie (Dina) Owens. Sisters-in-law Eileen (Dave) Clark and Janice Gunderman, grandchildren Jeff, Ryan and Kyle Knoop, Angela Parisi, and Avery Owens, along with numerous nieces & nephews. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose heart she touched, and the world will forever be a darker place without her wonderful laugh. Her favorite things in life were spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, rooting on the Braves, and the occasional trip to make sure the slot machines were in good working order at the casino. A memorial wake will be held for close friends and family in the near future. In her remembrance, please consider a donation in her honor to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
