Obituary of Linda T. Bosch

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda T Bosch (Benkovic), 57, of Endwell, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1968 to parents Virginia Gooding (Radicchi) and Frank Benkovic. She is predeceased by her father, Frank Benkovic, and her step-father, David Gooding. She is survived by her two children, Martine (Nate) Kozyra and Jonathan Bosch, her granddaughter, Sylvie Kozyra, her devoted mother, Virginia, her siblings, Katherine Loiacono, Margaret Williams, Frank (Natalie) Benkovic, and Brent Benkovic, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda graduated from Binghamton High School in 1986 and earned her bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 1990. She later obtained master's degrees in social work (1998) and education (2006). Linda's career was devoted to helping others; she worked for several non-profits, helped patients and their families as a medical social worker, and provided guidance to high school and college students as a school counselor. Linda was a competitive runner, excelling in high school and college, and carrying her love of running well into adulthood. She completed several marathons, including the Marine Corps Marathon in 2008 at the age of 40. Linda loved the outdoors, music, and most of all, her family. She loved hiking and spending time in the finger lakes, especially at the many parks and waterfalls in Ithaca. She enjoyed watching live music, and was a loyal fan of local band, Driftwood, often traveling around the state to watch them play. She was a supportive mother, always dedicating time to spend with her two children. In 2017, Linda suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and stroke that left her with significant physical and cognitive challenges. Though much was taken from her, Linda's spirit always found a way to shine. She faced each day with courage, grace, and humor – and a profound strength that was amplified by the unwavering love and support of her mother, Virginia, who dedicated her life to Linda's care. Surrounded by the love of her family and devoted caregivers, Linda persevered for eight remarkable years, showing the same resilience and kindness that defined her throughout her life. Linda's vibrant personality, humor, compassion, and loyalty were obvious to everyone who knew her and made her so easy to love. She was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend, and she will be missed immensely.
