Obituary of Mary T. Feheley

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Terese (Mez) Feheley of Binghamton, New York unexpectedly joined the Lord on Thursday September 25, 2025. Born June 16, 1956; she was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Feheley; brother Thomas J Feheley, aunt Margaret (Peg) Feheley and uncle Robert (Bob) Shields. She is survived by son Sean Beppler and daughter-in-law Kelly Chapman, lifelong friend Suzanne Stento Salton, her aunt Betsy Ann McCormick Shields, sister-in-law Cynthia Blazey Feheley, cousins Terence Feheley, Christine Feheley, nephew Thomas W. Feheley and his wife, Trichelle Feheley; plus Jarod Hinton, Jen Foley Jones, Monica Buckley, Jean Nickerson, Joann Gosney, Tricia Carroll, Kathy Kasabian, Jessica Carrow, Michelle Dow and countless others who loved her. Mary graduated from Catholic Central in Binghamton in 1974; and three separate times from Broome Tech / SUNY Broome. She lived a giving, thoughtful and 'others focused' life. Often described as 'everyone's mom' she felt most at peace gardening and feeding neighborhood cats. Beloved by everyone who knew her; Mary was proud to have spent her entire life living in the house she grew up in, on Binghamton's South Side; and had the same phone number from birth until death. Did you grow up on the Southside? Are you of Irish descent? You're probably related to her. Mary spent her entire 53 years long working career at the intersection of Exchange & Court Streets in downtown Binghamton; first at Binghamton Beauty Supply, the Broome County Public Library (50 Years), and lastly Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP (33 years). HH&K acted as a second family to her, and gave her the opportunity to mentor hundreds of 'kids' as summer students each year, one of her great joys. Come say goodbye to a woman who loved polka music, long beautiful hair and silly pranks during calling hours at J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St, Binghamton on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Thursday October 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to The Loaves and Fishes Pantry Sts. John and Andrew Church, 1268 Vestal Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903; https://giving.myparishsoft.io//app/giving/WeShare-20001369?tab=home
