It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Priscilla Koplik, a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, on May 20, 2025, at the age of 81. Priscilla is survived by son Joseph (Jacqui), daughter Jennifer Westcott (Thomas); grandchildren Roman (Tara), Natalya, Elise, Carly and Meredith; brother John Giammichele, sister Maria Syryca, sister Rosalie (Edward) Blaine, brother-in-law Dennis Telfer, sister-in-law Marian Zembek, brother-in-law Robert (Ann) Koplik, sister-in-law Martha (Victor) Lidaka and brother-in-law Michael Pratt; and many nieces and nephews. Priscilla is predeceased by her husband Joseph Koplik, parents Carl & Joanna Giammichele, brother Dominic, sister Carolyn Telfer, sister-in-law Jeanne Pratt, brother-in-law Bernie Syryca. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. For 56 beautiful years, she was the devoted wife of Joseph, whom she met while working at Lourdes Hospital, both of which remained a point of pride in her life. Their love story, built on shared values and deep respect, became the foundation of a close-knit family. She was a proud mother and an adoring grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. Her eyes lit up with every milestone, every visit, and every shared laugh. She gave so freely of her time, her wisdom, and her heart. Later in her career, she worked at the Bay Ridge Financial Group in Endwell, where she built lasting friendships and was known for her kindness and integrity. Her ability to connect with people left a lasting impression, both professionally and personally. One of her greatest joys was cooking and sharing meals with those she loved. Her home was always open, a place where hospitality and comfort came together with the scent of something delicious. She taught us the grace of welcoming others with warmth and generosity, lessons we will carry forward always. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal, Saturday May 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would encourage donations to Mercy House, 212 N McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to caregivers Marcie Deshay and Susan Martinez.
