Manuel "Manoline" Rivera, 85, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025. Born on June 10, 1939, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, to Maria Nieves Soto and Jose Rivera, Manuel's life was a testament to dedication, love and resilience.

Manuel worked professionally in the service industry, delivering products and goods to various stores throughout New York State. His commitment and work ethic were evident in every endeavor, and he took great pride in his contributions to the community. After decades of hard work, he retired in the early 2000s, enjoying his well-earned rest and the company of his loved ones.

He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Cristina Rivera; his parents, Maria and Jose; and his siblings, Genaro "Pito" Rivera, Thomas Rivera, and Socorro Rivera.

Manuel is survived by his sister, Milagros Marrero; his niece, Brenda Rivera; his grand-nephew, Andres Crane; and his stepchildren: Victor, Lydia, Jaime, Johnny, and Michael. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will remember him fondly.

Known for his unwavering dedication to his wife and family, and his gentle spirit and sense of humor, Manuel touched the lives of many. His stories, wisdom, and warmth will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday May 9, 2025 at 11 A.M.. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday May 9, 2025 from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M.
