Sheryl A. ( Thompson) Talbut, age 60, of Chenango Bridge, New York passed away at home on April 25,2025 with her loving husband by her side.

Sheryl attended Johnson City High School. She retired from the Chenango Valley School District after 24 years of service as the Cook Manager at Chenango Valley Elementary School. Her special friends, Bobbie Jo, Doris and Marianne, made the 24 years seem like time spent with family.

Sheryl enjoyed her time at Hidden Hollow Campgrounds and her time with her Newman Ave. families, where many wonderful memories were made.

Sheryl was a devoted wife of 36 years to Vincent Talbut. She was a loving and dedicated mother to Vincent Talbut II ( Marie Zarcone) and her beloved dog Klowy. Sheryl is survived by her mother, Jennien Thompson, brother John ( Laurie) Thompson and family, sister Debra (Joe) Cavallaro and family, mother in-law Joyce Talbut, brother-in-laws Michael (Bridget) Talbut and family and Joseph (Diane) Talbut and family, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family.

Sheryl was predeceased by her grandparents, her father Joseph E. Thompson and her father-in-law Frederick J. Talbut.

At her request, there will be no services. Sheryl had a zest for life. She cherished her time with family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest. We will forever cherish our " Peezer".
