Obituary of Annon L. Kishpaugh
Please share a memory of Annon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sadness that the family of Annon Kishpaugh announce his passing on March 20, 2025 at home in Kirkwood, NY. Annon, 78, was born on 6/24/1946 to George and Margaret Kishpaugh. He grew up in Westover, NY. Annon will be lovingly remembered by his life companion of 20 years, Jan Ewanow; two children, Jessica Underwood (Bill), Erin Kishpaugh, and their mother Ann Marie Kishpaugh; grandchildren, Billy and Ryan Underwood; sister, Toddeen Saba; brother, Charles Kishpaugh. Annon will also be deeply missed by Jan's family including; Ted Ewanow, Lynn Ewanow (Lorn Clement); Corey, Alex and Ryan Ewanow who were like siblings and nephews to Annon; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Annon was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Mona Page, Dawna Tribble and George Kishpaugh.
Annon served two tours in Vietnam as a Navy "Seabee" with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalion. He went on to pursue a career as a pipefitter with Local Union 112, where, over the course of 30 years, he built meaningful, lasting relationships with his brothers in the union. Annon had a passion for classic cars and was especially proud of his 1968 Corvette. Alongside his friends, he put his heart and soul into creating a beautiful restomod. He enjoyed traveling, with 19 years spent at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, ME, creating cherished memories with family and friends. Known for his warm heart and welcoming spirit, his voicemail greeting, "Hello my friend," reflected the kindness and generosity he shared with everyone he met, as he truly "never met a stranger." Annon cherished his family. His love for his daughters was evident as he was always there for them when it mattered most. It is important to acknowledge that he was surrounded by a close-knit group of friends who provided companionship and unwavering loyalty throughout his life.
Annon will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life. We are all better people for having known him.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to; John O'Neill RPA, Dr. Jonathan Harris MD, Dr. Ron Harris MD, Dr. Kevin Hastings DO, Dr. Raphael Bueno MD and the Mesothelioma care team at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
