It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Richard Eric Norbont (Rick), on February 11, 2025, at the age of 64. A graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Rick dedicated 36 years of his life to his work as a pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy Inc. His career was marked by a strong commitment to his profession and a genuine sense of responsibility to those he served. Rick was predeceased by his parents, John R. Norbont and Mary B. Norbont. He is survived by his sisters: Inga (Allyn) Jones of Binghamton, NY; Zena Norbont of New York, NY; and Ilsa (Elliott) Davis of Old Bennington, VT. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Dr. Morgan (Dr. Christine) Jones, Dr. Zachary (Angela) Jones, Maxwell (Julie) Jones, Ivan Jones, Chloe (Kevin) Gilroy, Noah Svoboda, Oliver Svoboda, Ursula (Stephen) Carney, along with many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. Rick will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and steadfast loyalty to family and friends. He was dedicated to the things he loved, including golf, where he often spent cherished time on the course with close friends. A man of deep faith, Rick lived his life guided by his strong religious convictions, always striving to do right by those around him. A private service was held at St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church on Monday, February 17th, in accordance with his wishes.
