Not how she die, but how she live, not what she gain, but what she give. A good woman. A good friend. A wonderful cousin. Rest in peace Maureen

Betty Donovan posted a condolence

Maureen was my mother’s favorite niece. So, I grew up in awe of her. We became better friends as adults, and in the last few years became quite the telephone buddies as we discussed politics, social issues, our impressions of our rather large family and the idiosyncrasies. What fun. And we laughed! She was as Irish Catholic as they come and so proud of her heritage. But so importantly, she regaled me with stories about her children and grandchildren and how proud she was of all of them. A true, caring mother. Maureen was the matriarch of the cousins, although, I believe, she wore that title in disbelief , and certainly didn’t flaunt it. Rest In Peace, my dear cousin and friend. Yes, a life well lived, and more. You will always be in my heart. Betty Donovan
